Crews will be back on the road early tomorrow morning. Chris hohmann is tracking the Winter Weather threat in the first alert storm center. Chris i have been monitoring the storm. We could be in the high best potential in terms of accumulating snow. Still clear outside, no signs of any snow coming our way. The system will bring us a little bit of Winter Weather. It will go southeast. It will be a weak one. The question is how much we showed you this computer model earlier with light snow moving over here, heavier around quickly. Still dropping light accumulations, especially northeast of the triangle. Ever since around 6 00, we have had several models that have changed. This is the latest computer we have seen several others in the last hour. The moisture comes in. You see a little bit of a makes midday, and a little bit later across the sand hills. It misses the triangle almost completely. A little light snow and mix in the coastal plains. By 4 00 or 5 00, it is gone. If this were verified 100 , you would see nothing but a flurry in the triangle. This is an advisory in effect right now, getting the triangle right on the line. We have adjusted the snow totals. At most, a dusting of the triangle. That may be hard to come by, maybe just a few flurries. The best chance of accumulating snow will be very light, onequarter of an inch or maybe half an inch. Sampson county, cumberland county, you could still have a brief light mixture. It does not take much freezing rain on the roadways to cause slick spots. But it does not look to be a major storm. The wind was blowing away from his house, but it just looked out of control, like the whole complex was about to come down. Reporter smoke was coming out of this building at the northridge crossings Apartment Fire was coming out of the second floor. Reporter everybody got out. Firefighters knocked out the flames within half an hour, but flames destroyed four apartments. Thankfully no one was hurt, but 10 people are displaced. Police say 23yearold kayla hagans was driving early sunday morning when she was hit. A driver later spotted her body face down in the ditch. Police have not named the driver or filed charges. Done to the south, a bit of a mix. Snow, sleet, changing to freezing rain, but it will not amount to much. Could still cause a few travel issues. A dusting at best.
