Heres what we know a15yearold boy in Critical Condition right now at chop at Childrens Hospital following following this accident at 2 15 this afternoon at 58th and cobbs creek. Witnesses telling us four teenaged boys were racing on the 2atvs going in and out of traffic. They came upon traffic here wait tag red light. They may have clipped each others tires and one apparently turned too quickly. The driver went over the handlebars landing on his head and not wearing a helmet. The two teens were being told on the other atv left the scene but witnesses say they did come back. The veepyearold driver of one. Atvs seriously hurt. They tried to swerve out of the way of that white truck waiting at the light h chance to talk to that truck driver and to a nurse who was nearby church and one of two nurses to perform cpr on the boy. I seen 2atvs raceing and next thing i know they tried to go around me and the guy in back of the on the atv he tipped his rear tire and flipped over. When he crashed he was bleeding from the head. Nurses tried to perform cpr on him. He needed continued cycles of cpr. We were unable to get a pulse so we kept doing cpr. Reporter good news from the standpoint of those nurses being there. They were just leaving a Church Program at the church just across the street.
