It happened last night at 9 30 our cameras were out there as detectives were combing the scene looking for any possible evidence in this case, any clues, because right now, they do not have this shooter. Philadelphia police say a gunman opened fire last night on the 2,000 block of east orleans street, it is a tiny street, in kensington, a 14 yearold boy was shot in the neck, and back, multiple times , and a 16 yearold was struck in the shoulder, both teens were transported to st. Christophers hospital, shortly thereafter the 14 yearold died from his injuries. The second victim is in stable condition. And so at this point, again, no motive. We dont know why the shooter was even in this area, why he pulled a trigger on a couple of teenagers. We are hoping to learn more, this morning, karen. Also we are following some developing news this is from kensington as well, same neighborhood also over Weekend Police say there was a man sleeping in his bed when some guy comes in and starts to stab him. And then in the middle of the stabbing, he manages to grab a knife, and starts to stab the attacker. So, police, say somehow that victim managed to get that knife and stab the guy. He gets out of the apartment right there. The victim was rushed to the hospital, the attacker died at the scene, we do not know the motive on that strange one. Also happening today, deliberations will resume in the david creato murder case. Jurors are expect to review testimony from the county detective and also a cell phone expert. Remington peters fell to his death on sunday after his par shoe failed to open during a demonstration over the hudson river. He was a member of the navys elite parachute team called the leap frogs.
