Travel restrictions are still being enforced late Tuesday morning on northeastern Pennsylvania highways while crews work to clear the remnants of marathon snowstorms, PennDOT officials warned.

PennDOT uses a tier system to determine how severely limited travel should be on certain roadways.
Earlier this morning, PennDOT lifted restrictions that prevented some vehicles from traveling on Interstates 81, 83 and 283. This included the majority of commercial vehicles, motorcycles, trailers and recreational vehicles.
