Travis helps local hospitals during Covid-19 pandemic
LODI — While essential workers shoulder the brunt of the public health crisis as Covid-19 continues to spread in California, the U.S. Department of Defense is providing support to hospitals as service members answer the call to support their local communities’ needs.
Adventist Health Lodi Memorial and Dameron are two hospitals that have received relief from these Department of Defense service members. Having the Department of Defense provide medical personnel which includes doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists, helps relieve pressure on the hospital’s staff as they care for Covid-19 patients.
