Photo courtesy of Ohio Department of Transportation District 1 LIMA — U.S. 30 westbound between Interstate 75/state Route 696 and state Route 65 and the Slabtown Road overpass at U.S. 30 in Allen County will be closed indefinitely following a single-vehicle traffic accident there Tuesday. According to the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. when a boom truck driven by Jason Randol, 34, of Green Springs, struck the overpass. The boom of the truck was not fully lowered at the time of the crash, which caused severe structural damage to the overpass.
