The victim told deputies that Key and Alexander had picked him up from his Pensacola residence to purchase narcotics. According to the OCSO, the victim said Key and Alexander held him at gunpoint and told him he was being kidnapped. A short time later, they were involved in a pursuit with the Pensacola Police Department, but were able to get away. Key drove toward the Fort Walton Beach area, where the victim told him he needed to use the restroom and convinced him to stop at a Florosa convenience store. The victim told the clerk to contact police and provided a vehicle description and plate number, OCSO reported. Deputies located the vehicle near Hurlburt Field and attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle accelerated and a pursuit ensued into Mary Esther.
