Uber Eats HK names Elisa Janiec as GM Details Uber Eats Hong Kong has appointed Elisa Janiec as general manager. In her new position, Janiec will be responsible for strengthening its partnership with restaurants and delivery-partners on the platform and overseeing the next phase of the company’s growth. She joined Uber in 2017 as Uber Eats’ senior operations manager in Brisbane, Australia, before going on to lead Uber Eats across Queensland and Northern Territory. In 2019, she took over as head of New Zealand and regional Australia, managing a portfolio of more than 30 cities. She also spearheaded key initiatives in the region, including launching Uber Eats in over 15 cities, and piloting virtual restaurants and new use cases for pick-up services.
