Monday, 18 January 2021 12:10 All UK travel corridors have been temporarily closed to protect against the new Covid-19 variants. Source: Heathrow Airport. Quarantine-free travel corridors for passengers arriving into the UK have today (18 January) been shut. The suspension of the travel corridors at 4am on Monday 18 January means arrivals who have departed from or transited through any country outside the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man will be required to self-isolate for 10 days. Passengers will need to show proof of a negative coronavirus (Covid-19) test to travel to England. The emergency measures at the border are expected to be in place for at least one month.
