A delegation of Taiwanese legislators in Slovakia visited Ukrainian children who took refuge in the central European country in the wake of Russia’s invasion of their homeland, Taiwan’s representative office in Bratislava said on Friday. The lawmakers from the Legislative Yuan’s Taiwan-Slovakia Inter-Parliamentary Amity Association visited a Ukrainian child refugee education center, which was set up through donations from Taiwan, the representative office said in a statement. The Taiwanese lawmakers were touched as they listened to the Ukrainian children sing their national anthem and perform Ukrainian folk songs, the representative office said. The visiting legislators expressed their hope to the children that the
