But it was also her first time spending real time participating in a university event since COVID-19 forced virtual classes last March. Younger recently joined other students from the upcoming graduating class and the spring 2020 class gathered at Willson Park in downtown Flint to record a video celebrating their achievements. “It’s bittersweet,” Younger said. “It’s nice to be able to come and do this, despite the pandemic. I get a little bit of that on-campus feeling.”
