Boston College learned that lesson Saturday, deploying a double shutoff on UNC’s star attackers Katie Hoeg and Jamie Ortega, only to watch the Tar Heels’ midfield take over in a 21-9 win in Chapel Hill, N.C. No. 1 North Carolina (6-0, 2-0 ACC) scored seven unanswered goals to start the second half and pull away from No. 11 Boston College (2-1, 0-1). The Tar Heels have won 12 straight games dating back to last season and have outscored their six opponents this year 95-38.
