Organizers are planning the event to march in unity, march for change, march for reform, and to march together to reimagine public safety. A new local group called How Many More? will host a Unity March on Saturday, June 5 at 12 noon. The event takes place approximately one year following a large march held in San Diego in the days following George Floyd's murder. The march will begin at the County of San Diego Administration building and follow a route to the Hillcrest Pride Flag. Organizers are planning the event to march in unity, march for change, march for reform, and to march together to reimagine public safety in honor of Floyd, Adam Toledo, Breonna Taylor, and many other Black Americans who have lost their lives at the hands of police.
