Actor shared her two cents on the speculations Urmila Matondkar, who became a household name in Bollywood with Ram Gopal Varma’s Rangeela, opened up about the classic getting a potential remake. She expressed that there is no ‘hard and fast rule’ about what kind of a film should be remade, however, she confessed that remakes are ‘great’ while others fail to impress. In Rangeela (1995), Matondkar played Mili, a woman from a middle-class family, who aspires to be an actor. Mili then gets entangled in a love triangle as her childhood friend Munna (Aamir Khan) and the lead actor of her film, Raj (Jackie Shroff), both fall for her. The film received ample critical acclaim and became a blockbuster.
