The Utes landed five guys on the first-team all-conference preseason team, the most in the conference regarding that returning talent. The five guys to land on the preseason first-team are Nick Ford, Mika Tafua, Devin Lloyd, Jadon Redding, and Britain Covey. Covey was named as a wide receiver on the second team, as was offensive lineman Sataoa Laumea.
