The Community Housing Development Corporation and Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia will host a long-awaited “Grand Open House for Heritage Point” Tuesday, July 20 at 11 a.m. The Zoom meeting will introduce the affordable housing complex located at 1540 Fred Jackson Way in North Richmond.
Completed in 2019, Heritage Point is a four story building featuring 42 affordable, multifamily rental apartment units. Its Grand Opening was reportedly postponed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are proud of Heritage Point, which includes 12 one bedroom, one bath units, 17 two bedroom, 1 bath units, and 13 three bedroom, 2 bath units, including mobility accessible units, and are ready to celebrate its impact to our North Richmond community,” event organizers said in a post on eventbrite.com.
