Are they native plants or introduced? There are many different plant habitats in the YBWA and they support a wide range of flowering plants. Yolo Basin Foundation’s Flyway Nights speaker series will explore “Plants of the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area” with Charlie Russell at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4. In this virtual presentation, Russell will identify many of the common plants that visitors are likely to come across while on foot or in a car. He’ll help participants identify the good, the bad, the ugly and even the poisonous ones.
