The 48 Idaho Panhandle National Forest campgrounds saw a significant uptick in visitors last year, officials say, and reservations are already filling up fast for the summer season.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — The Idaho Panhandle National Forest saw a 300% increase in visitation last year, officials said, and those numbers are likely to climb even higher this year, as reported by our news partner the Coeur d'Alene Press.
