Police are looking for a male suspect who fled after hitting a female pedestrian with a stolen vehicle around 3 p.m. Wednesday at South Main and East Northampton streets in Wilkes-Barre. Wilkes-Barre police posted the following description of the suspect on Facebook: late 20s/early 30s; 6 feet 3-4 inches tall, possibly from New York, with gold teeth, and wearing a dark jacket and cream-colored pants. The pedestrian appeared to be in serious condition, and officers took life saving measures until medics arrived. Officers located the abandoned stolen vehicle, and police determined the suspect fled on foot and broke into a residence.
