WAUWATOSA, WI—The Wauwatosa Common Council officially extended the face mask ordinance on Tuesday with a 12-2 vote. The mask ordinance, which was set to expire on Wednesday, is now in effect until June 16.
Alderman Mike Morgan and Alderman John Dubinski voted against the extension.
Morgan asked if having a healthy lifestyle would help to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and other diseases in the future. Healthy behavior such as healthy diets, exercise and avoiding smoking and alcohol. He said in addition to the mask wearing an social distancing.
