(CSP) STORRS, CT — A raid at a home near the University of Connecticut Wednesday led to authorities confiscating an arsenal of guns, ammunition and materials that could be turned into explosives, state police said. At about 3 p.m. Wednesday, detectives from the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force's east office executed a search warrant in the area of 88 Hillyndale Road near the UConn campus. The target of the search warrant was 32-year-old Scott Barber, his vehicle and his residence with authorities seeking firearms, narcotics and "other related items," state police said.
