Weather Advisory Until 3p Today With this storm we can expect: One inch expected for the Bozeman area Up to two inches possible at the pass level Snow packed and slick roads Reduced road conditions Slippery roads Difficult travel especially for mountain passes The National Weather Service has issued the Winter Weather Advisory for portions of central, southwest, and west-central Montana until 3 p.m. The advisory includes Kings Hill Pass, Bozeman Pass, Raynolds Pass, Chief Joseph Pass, and Homestake Pass. More snow is expected again on Friday afternoon and into Saturday with lows in the teens. This storm will be good for the snowpack in the local mountains, according to the United States Department of Agriculture, which is currently 102% to the normal yearly average in Gallatin County. Last year in February, the Bozeman area received a record 29.7 inches of snow.
