February 22, 2021 Professor Tim Palmer and his students participate in a virtual discussion by a nonprofit organization in India as part of a virtual study abroad experience. KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Western Michigan University students are brainstorming with Indian business and nonprofit leaders; experiencing Indian dance, music and art; learning to cook with Indian spices; and even riding along with a live motorcycle tour through the streets of Bangalore. Broncos are still getting a valuable study abroad experience virtually during the pandemic as international borders remain closed. Students can explore the personal and educational benefits of Western's study abroad programs at multiple information sessions. Programs include faculty-led summer study travel to Ghana, the Netherlands, Ireland and Curacao as well as virtual study opportunities in New Zealand, China, South Korea and Belize. The different study opportunities are all available online.
