Moon Under Water in Watford High Street JD Wetherspoon has revealed that 394 of its UK pubs will reopen on April 12 - and 12 of them are in Hertfordshire. Pubs will be allowed to serve punters outdoors from mid-April under the government's roadmap out of lockdown. People will no longer need to order a "substantial meal" with an alcoholic drink and there will be no curfew forcing pubs to close by a certain time. However, customers must order, eat and drink while seated. Wetherspoons, which has its headquarters in Watford, has confirmed its Moon Under Water pub in Watford High Street is among the pubs reopening in April, but Colombia Press in The Parade, The Pennsylvanian in Rickmansworth, and The Hart & Spool in Borehamwood will stay closed for the time being.
