• As of press time, Anderson hasn’t tweeted anything since. “Welp…” indeed. • Sometimes a “welp…” tweet is just that. Like when I get home from grocery shopping, only to realize I forgot to pick up one key ingredient for the dessert I’m making. There’s a decent chance the “welp…” tweet had nothing to do with the Bears or a QB splash acquisition. But it didn’t stop us (or anyone else) from wondering. To this point, there’s been no concrete news on either front. But when a high-profile reporter puts that out into the universe, it’s going to get passed around and talked about.
