Why giving back to the community is so important to Patrick

Cultivating a flourishing community starts with being a voice for the voiceless and building up resources for those who may struggle to take care of themselves and their families.
Patrick Christensen, president of Sturtevant-based Horizon Retail Construction, is a great example of a business owner who is always considering the needs of his community.
In the 17 years since Christensen has been actively involved in philanthropy, he has donated much-needed funding, resources and time to dozens of local organizations in need. A few of these beneficiaries include the Blood Center of Wisconsin, Racine-based Halo Inc’s coat drive, Kiwanis Club of Greater Racine, Village of Mount Pleasant Recreation Program and Racine County Food Bank.
