Why PUBG and Call of Duty's makers think extraction shooters

Krafton, the parent company of PUBG: Battlegrounds, told investors on Feb. 8 that PUBG Studios was at work on an extraction shooter, which seems to be the next hot genre awaiting free-to-play video games.
