Winsford PC left with spinal injuries determined to cycle 140 miles

A WINSFORD police officer left with spinal injuries after a crash in the line of duty is tackling a daunting charity challenge.
PC Neil Jones has been unable to work on the frontline since sustaining serious injuries when his police car was rammed by a stolen van in January 2019.
The 41-year-old has faced mental health problems following the collision and now wants to help other people facing similar difficulties by raising money and awareness for the mental health charity Mind.
The member of Cheshire Constabulary’s Initial Investigation Team, is determined to cycle 140 miles on Saturday, May 22, despite being hampered by the effects of the crash.
