Just checking around the maps and the travel board arent it and itlooks like the only delaye a few out of los angeles but for the most part everything is on time and going well. The airport here really not very crowded at this point its still a little bit early so we expect maybe later those t. S. A. Checkpoints will stack up just a little bit. If you think that youve seen a lot more crowds on airplanes and in the airports lately, youre absolutely right. Be a record year for Holiday Travel, that period beginning they define it as beginning tomorrow through january 1st, but really as we know, it started yesterday. But record numbers of passengers. T. S. A. Expects about 400,000 additional Airline Passengers every day during this Holiday Season, so it is going to be very busy and theyre adding, of course, extra security as well. They said theyve put in about 1400 new k k9 extra t. S. A. Officers as well as additional k9 officers, too. Youll see them more and more throughout the airport. Sometimes when were here a lot of times well see officers on bicycles as well so i wouldnt be surprised to see some of those later today, too. A couple of tips here just to help get you through screening and get you to your destination without too much trouble. Domestically really you just want to get here two hours ahead of time. Its not really that big of a deal. You go through security, you can relax a little bit. Internationally they want to you get there three hours early. As far as things that youe bringing, the holidays always bring some unusual questions. First of all, its probably a better idea not to wrap your gifts. You can wrap them but t. S. A. Says that if they do have to unwrap something it just causes a little bit of a holdup in the line. Baked goods, you can certainly bring baked goods. Those are not a problem but if its anything thats pourable or spreadable then that has to adhere to the 3. 4ounce limit. And then theres also a new policy on personal electronic devices. Anything larger than a cell phone now has to come out of your bag be put in a separate bin so it can be screened so that takes up a little bit extra time too. President trump will also likely sign the republican tax overhaul bill into law today. The measure is the most extensive rewrite of the tax code in more than 30 years. The Corporate Tax rate will drop to 21 percent. Small businesses are also due to see a big reduction in taxes. And standard deductions for individuals and couples as well as child tax credits will double. 5 04 our time. Breaking overnight the search for a missing 12yearold boy in Prince William county. This is Brendan Escobar 4foot 8inches tall, black eyes, brown hair. He was last seen leaving his home on forest daleri woodbridge last night around 7 oclock. New video shows two people breaking into a Northern Virginia restaurant and the stealing a safe and some cash from the Cash Register. Police are hoping you can help them identify the thieves. It happened last thursday at a Mexican Restaurant along Jefferson Davis highway in woodbridge. Police say the suspects threw a heavy object through the glass door to get inside. They took the register and a safe. They took out the cash and then dumped the items at a nearby construction site. Police say there was no Surveillance Video at the construction site where the safe and the Cash Register were found. Montgomery county police also released Surveillance Video from a burglary at a liquor store. Three masked men broke into the store on lehman farm road in germantown. They grabbed several bottles of liquor and then took off. Crime solvers is offering a reward of up to 10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in that case. Lets talk a developing story involving a world renowned conductor facing Sexual Assault accusations. The chicago Symphony Orchestra says Charles Dutoit will not perform. They say it happened between 1985 different cities. The boston and San Francisco symphonies say they are cutting ties with the with dutoit and the new york fill harmon nick says he has withdrawn from concerts scheduled next month. Coroner releasing new details in the devastating mass shooting in las vegas. All 58 victims died of gunshot wounds. Their deaths have been ruled homicides. In october Stephen Paddock fired shots from hotel room. Lets. Lets go to philadelphia where a four month old baby is recovering from a vicious raccoon attack. Now, the video is actually too graphic to show at this hour. The attack happened inside an apartment on wednesday night while the baby was sleeping. The babys parents say a raccoon dragged their newborn baby across the room and left the baby bloody. The little baby was given 60 stitches. Authorities never found the raccoon but the Apartment Building has set up traps. Another accident on the rails involving an amtrak train. This time in florida. An amtrak train crashed into it happened in polk county. The train dragged the truck for awhile before coming to a stop. The good news is that no one was hurt.
