But a new year is an opportunity to build on our lessons from the past and look back with approval on our accomplishments. They were the real Michigan heroes of 2020 as COVID-19 impacted every inch our society. The doctors, nurses, health professionals, first-responders, teachers, delivery people and many others, kept our communities moving forward.
