On Friday, Major League Baseball announced a new spring schedule, and it was aimed at halting the spread of the coronavirus. Introducing Yankees Insider: Teams will play in what are being referred to as pods. They will travel only to the teams nearest them. So, for the Yankees, who are based in Tampa, that means games against the Phillies in Clearwater, the Blue Jays in Dunedin, the Pirates in Bradenton and the Tigers in Lakeland.
