By Dapo Akinrefon A pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, Yoruba Professionals Foundation, YPF, on Friday, warned South-West governors that unless they prioritise jobs creation through knowledge-based entrepreneurship, and agriculture, insecurity will continue to boom in the region. YPF, a group of Yoruba professionals, noted that poverty, hunger and starvation, mostly occasioned by a high rate of youth unemployment, are responsible for the increased commercial criminality and kidnapping in the South-West. In a statement jointly by its Convener/President and Director of Research and Strategy, Messrs Maxwell Adeleye and Olawale Kadri, respectively, YPF warned the governors in the region on the danger of not prioritising youth unemployment.
