30-foot-wide road to be built along Orangi, Gujjar nullahs, SHC told

The provincial advocate general has told the Sindh High Court (SHC) that the provincial government has proposed building a 30-foot-wide road along the Gujjar and Orangi storm water drains in order to ensure that no further construction takes place on the right of way and that accessibility is improved.
Filing a statement on lawsuits with regard to the demolition of houses at Gujjar and Orangi nullahs, the AG submitted that the drains were natural drains and the right of way in respect of each was originally designated in pre-Partition times between 40 and 210 feet on either sides of the Gujjar drain and 20 to 300 feet on either side of the Orangi drain. ....

Sherpa TechInvest acquires stake in incoming agency Shanti Travel

Investment fund Sherpa TechInvest has acquired a stake in Asia-based incoming agency Shanti Travel to secure the company s business and ensure its development for the coming years, impending the recovery of the travel in Asia and the development of its France vertical. Shanti Travel was founded in 2005 by Alexandre Le Beuan, and later joined by Jérémy Grasset. 
While the agency is supported by French government schemes, visibility remains very uncertain as to the resumption of activity abroad remains without an end date. Not all local incoming agencies benefit from the same support, many have been furlough and turned to domestic markets, notably in India. ....
