HomeAid Hawaii
Ward Village has partnered with general contractor Albert C. Kobayashi Inc. to complete the first two tiny homes in the new Kamaʻokū community in West O‘ahu.
The homes are part of Home Aid Hawaiʻi’s Kauhale Project an initiative to build tiny homes in Kalaeloa for Oahu’s unsheltered population.
Each home has an 80-square-foot interior with a 20-square-foot lanai, and features high, open ceilings. There will be a shared communal garden and kitchen.

The title of the research is:
The narrative of being houseless - lived experiences of cave dwellers. The research presented to the reader in this study attempts to illustrate life experiences within a houseless community of cave dwellers in an isolated village along the Hawkesbury River in New South Wales. The focus of the study is one woman in particular, but it is her interactions with other people in the communities with which she com ....
