Health care. this was stable, construction, manufacturing, retail. retail has been losing a lot of jobs so it s good to see it was a little bit same. important number here, 62.9, workforce participation rate. this should be in the high 60s. some people turned away. they decided they re not getting a job. that s why that number is low. $26.19, average hourly earnings, up 2.5% compared to a year ago. that s good. that shows we re soaking up some of the extra labor. here s a problem, maybe not for all of you, but $46.22 for a barrel of oil. it was under $44 overnight. it s a problem because when it s under sort of $ 55, we don t produce as much oil in the united states. i do want to give you a point of reference, though, going back to 2012, take a look at the price of oil. it dropped down in 2015, much lower about a year ago. we re hanging around this level. oil here, needs to be about here for american oil jobs to be present. i want to make sense of all of this with a guy who knows more ....

Event. i was walking the line a lot during the day talking to people waiting out there. you ve never seen happier people waiting in line, i ve got to tell you. over 30%, and that s maybe even a little conservative, were from out of state and other countries as well. it was just an amazing day. yeah. how about your price structure there at medicine man, andy? how are you pricing things? i know some of the dispensaries for medicinal purposes are a little concerned you guys are going to price them out of the business. it s $45 an eighth for recreational and you have to add taxes on top of that. which are huge, we should add, right? they have got pretty big taxes? yeah, it s 36.22% total taxes in denver on recreational marijuana. $30 million of that money every year will be going to the schools, so it s a wonderful thing. it is a wonderful thing, and it s interesting that sales from marijuana are going to go to support schools. again, about a third of them. but here s something i ....
Territory and a number of different criminal groups fighting for territory. the place you were mentions before where armando torres went, that s the state just south of texas where his father owned a ranch and that is where they disappeared about a month ago. just one more statistic to share with viewers, suzanne. when you look at the kidnapping rate in mexico and people who like numbers, like to put it in just these terms, for every 100,000 people there are 20 kidnappings in mexico. that s 2012 numbers. compare that to columbia. the worst ever, the year 1999, they had 6.22 per 100,000 people, so that gives you an idea of how bad the situation in mexico is. do they have a sense once somebody is kidnapped, they re still looking for him, as time goes by they re not going to find him? are they really doing an active investigation and trying to find this young guy? ....
Islam from 6/22 to this day. there are increasing numbers of protest, not even the ground zero thing. that s a separate thing. can you say, look, it s near ground zero, a few blocks away. these are protests against mosques, mosques trying to expand or a mosque in murphysboro, tennessee. i don t feel like i m qualified to speak about truth but i do think i can speak about the history of religion and what americans believe. for better or worse there s a correlation between violence and religion. if you took a room, all the religions in the world with no violence in the past in one side of the room and all the religion s in the world with violence in their past, one side of the room would be empty. i think what we have here, anderson, is a fairly simple choice. you can have open warfare among the religions or you can have co-existence and co-existence depends on dialogue, and i think what we re hearing now from reverend benham and people ....
