Baxter City Council hears concerns, opposition to road project
About 16 people attended the Oct. 7 public hearings. The city met with residents about plans to complete the Inglewood Drive connection in Baxter as another step toward creating an alternative to Highway 371 for residents in the belief that the “beltway” creates safer alternative routes than the main highways, although residents on Foley Road believed it was coming at the expense of their quiet neighborhood.
