The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Bida has raised the alarm over an alleged plot by the institution’s chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP-BD) to get the rector, Dr Abubakar Abdul Dzukogi, removed by any means, including instituting several court cases challenging the reappointment of the rector.
The polytechnic stated this in a statement issued by its public relations officer (PRO) Mallam Hussaini Enagi and made available to journalists on Friday in Bida, stressing that the reappointment of the rector was right and proper, highlighting that clarification has been obtained from the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and the Office of the Head of Civil  Service of the Federation (OHCSF). ....
