QUINCY — The city is one step closer to buying the historical Adams Academy building and settling a lawsuit over its ownership thanks to a $9 million allocation of Community Preservation Act money. Quincy is decades into a legal battle over the ownership of the Adams Academy building downtown and the revenue it generates.
