Weather Cancels MLK Events In 'Boro

(MURFREESBORO)  The annual Martin Luther King, Jr. march from Central Magnet School to the Patterson Center has been cancelled due to the icy weather. In addition, the event at MTSU has also been dropped due to the weather.

March Coordinator Shawn Brown told NewsRadio WGNS that they decided to cancel Monday's event because of the icing conditions coupled with temperatures not expected to rise much above freezing.

The Bond Arts & Culture Series, The Ties That Bond, will kick off February with a Tribute to C.C. Bond, a video presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 3. The late Dr. Claude C.
