Seun Anikulapo-Kuti, Nigerian musician and son of the late afro-beat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, says his preferred candidate for the 2023 presidential election is Omoyele Sowore of the African Action Congress. Seun, who is the Chairman of the Movement of the people (MOP) disclosed this during an interview with Arise TV. According to him, Sowore is the best of the frontline presidential candidates available but he is being held back to campaign for him because of his movement.

The immediate past Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ekiti State, Olawale Fapohunda (SAN) says the only presidential candidate that has a manifesto that addresses administration of justice is Omoyele Sowore of the African Action Congress. Fapohunda disclosed this on Monday at the Nigerian Bar Association’s State of Nation Dialogue with some presidential candidates. “I have looked at the manifestos of the Presidential candidates, only Omoyele Sowore has a manifesto that addressed administration of justice,” the former commissioner said.
