The University of Hawaii’s Center for Indigenous Innovation and Health Equity has received a $2 million award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The initiative places an emphasis on implementing innovative and culturally appropriate frameworks to prevent and improve disparities in chronic diseases.
The Center on Aging will facilitate interdisciplinary collaborative research between faculty at the two institutions.
Shortly after his retirement, former students and friends created the Professor Robert Grace Endowment for Civil and Environmental Engineering.
The UH Rural Health Research and Policy Center was established with a $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
