Cwmbran man admits affray at Six in Hand pub

The offence was committed on August 8, 2020. The defendant was also charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Craig Price and assault by beating against Jason Bullimore and Alan Cadwallader. He pleaded not guilty to these three alleged offences. Prosecutor Tom Roberts said Drew’s guilty plea to affray was accepted and the other charges would not be pursued. The court heard how the defendant’s brother Christopher Drew was jailed for eight weeks in connection with the incident. It was also told that Liam Drew had previous convictions for aggravated burglary, racially aggravated harassment and possession with intent to supply a class B drug.
