Cardiff Crown Court heard how Liam Drew had been refused entry into the Six in Hand when he had asked to charge his mobile phone there. His brother Christopher Drew was then involved and challenged customers to a fight as he tried to enter the pub. The offence was committed on August 8, 2020. The defendant was also charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Craig Price and assault by beating against Jason Bullimore and Alan Cadwallader. He pleaded not guilty to these three alleged offences. Prosecutor Tom Roberts said Drew’s guilty plea to affray was accepted and the other charges would not be pursued. The court heard how the defendant’s brother Christopher Drew was jailed for eight weeks in connection with the incident.
