A SUMMER of pop-up events in Carlisle’s Historic Quarter will kick off next week with an art exhibition showcasing the work of 50 local artists. The show - named Inspire due to its proximity to the cathedral - will take place in the pop-up space run by Carlisle PR firm Intro in their Paternoster Row offices from April 26 to May 8. An art auction raising money for Self-Harm Awareness for All (SAFA) hopes to have something for everyone. The auction will have an affordable 'Buy Now' price range from £6 to £35, while auction reserves range from £30 to £900. Local artist Sharon Tate is the inspiration and project leader behind the auction and has put together a dedicated team of volunteers to raise much-needed money for SAFA.
