There are more than a dozen active fires burning across the state. They stretch from way up in humboldt county to the fire that is raging now out of control just north of San Bernardino. That fire is the Fastest Growing fire all over the state. Its burned at least 18,000 acres since yesterday, and 82,000 people have been forced to evacuate across a wide stretch of mountain communities and the high desert.
