He has. so one of the offers they made on the table, if you can call it an offer, is that if they drop that, then republicans will allow the debt limit to be raised during the normal functioning of government. on the other side, though, we have now seen the democrats float -- president biden just last night float this idea that maybe there could be a carveout to the filibuster. that's something that mitch mcconnell does not want. and he has now made a move on this to force this debt limit vote back two months i think in part in response to that. i guess we will see how this plays out from here...
