Where you have a democrat and a republican. You have orman, an independent, who doesnt have the benefit of a Party Structure to do all that getting out the vote. So, aides to orman say theyve been using their phone banks and volunteers trying to find not the typical base democratic voters, who they hope will turn out on their own, but looking for those voters who might be somewhere in the middle, might not vote in every election and to try to drive them to the polls.
