Jennifer franciotti explains. Michael johnson faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of killing phylicia barnes. His defense team is asking for a new trial. Lawyers argue misconduct on the part of the prosecution, much of the argument centering on main witness james mccray.
