Weissmann Klein emerged from the depths of despair to become a bestselling author, humanitarian and Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree.
Gerda Weissmann Klein wrote the critically-acclaimed autobiography titled, "All But My Life," about her experience in the Holocaust.
Klein survived the Gross-Rosen camps, married her American liberator and ultimately earned the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her advocacy work.
