Employee later released and a more seriously injured sergeant in the sheriffs department. I think it was an upper floor. This shows two elevator cars in a common shaft. One car sling shotted upward with such speed and force it breached the concrete ceiling and that is the machine room or penthouse, heavy debris from that impact rained down more than 100 feet on to the car that the employee was riding forcing that elevator down. The building is closed and remains closed today. The court system says they will reopen the cjc tomorrow. Late this afternoon they reverse that saying it will be closed...
