Robredo was not able to meet Pruce personally, but she shared a photo of their online meeting on various topics involving the two nations.
”[I] Had a productive and meaningful discussion with Ambassador Daniel Pruce of the United Kingdom of a wide range of issues early this afternoon,” she said in a Facebook post.
They had previously met in October 2017 during a courtesy call of Pruce to Robredo at the Quezon City Reception House, where she holds office. Pruce was a new ambassador to the Philippines at that time.
In his tweet, Pruce said they discussed the coronavirus pandemic, typhoon response, and the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of Parties, also known as COP26.
